Delicious meal, we ate chicken satay sticks and money bags for entree. For mains we had yellow chicken curry, pad cha scallop and one serve of coconut rice between two. The eatery is small and clean, several others were eating in at the same time, and home delivery meals were streaming out the door. The service was really efficient and friendly, meal was very reasonably priced. Net the owner was friendly, chatty and helpful. We will definitely go back for another meal, highly recommended. Went back one week later, friendly greeting and great food again.
Excellent customer service, and excellent food. Made me feel appreciated and welcomed even as a blue collar battler. Good attention to detail. Not the cheapest but y're paying for quality. But not too fancy either. And even if yu think yu don't like Thai, this will convert yu. ( they will always ask how spicy yu like it) Call me Arnie, I'll be back. Tiny restaurant with well priced amazing food. I thought the pork belly was delicious but then I tasted my daughter’s Thai green curry and that was unbelievable, had lots of sauce too.
Best Thai in Traralgon by far. The other Asian restaurants are not even close. I've eaten all over Thailand and this place is absolutely first class in quality, texture and taste. My taste buds go crazy eating here. My only complaint is that the serving sizes are too big. But that’s a nice problem to have. My personal favourite is Pad Cha with prawns along with their Green & Penang curries which are to die for. So packed full of flavour. I just wish they were in Melbourne. I absolutely love their cooking style. Meat and seafood is always so tender and tasty, vegetables are crisp and with just the right amount of crunch. Its not easy to get this balance right, but they seem to be able to do it consistently well. Zaab Zaab is a small family run business and l can tell they care very much about their customers. They love to chat with you to find out about how you like your Thai food. I've been eating here since they opened and whenever l'm in the Gippsland l find an excuse to drop in. l've never been disappointed. I have friends that live in Traralgon that eat here every week and they tell me the food is always spot on. This is easily better than many places in Melbourne. I’ve also tried many Thai places in Gippsland and Zaab Zaab is superior in every way. Highly recommend this place to anyone that loves great quality food at affordable prices. Enjoy ! This Thai restaurant served the best food we had during our three-day trip. The yellow curry with lamb was absolutely incredible – the meat was so tender, and our kids loved it! The Tom Yum soup was authentic and full of flavor. My husband even said it was better than some Thai food he had in Thailand. Highly recommend this place!
Finally, a restaurant that is open past 2pm. We ordered Choo Chee curry with barramundi fillet. What a treat. So authentic. flavour and spices a perfect blend. The guy who served us was so lovely. Attentive and helpful as well as funny. It’s a basic cafe style outlet similar to what you’d expect to find in Thailand. If you want bling, this may not be the place for you. If, you want good service, happy staff and arguably the best Thai food around, in a relaxed setting then check this out. It’s mouth watering delicious.
The food is so delicious and authentic. Was a long wait but the staff was super friendly. Highly recommended.
